In 2026, there will be elections for the parliament, regions, and municipalities. Norrbotten is one of the country's strongest leftist strongholds. We are now looking for you who can and want to contribute to the Left Party's election campaign to strengthen the chances of a change of government and to create a Norrbotten where justice and solidarity are the guiding principles.

Job Responsibilities

As an employee of the Left Party Norrbotten, you will perform your tasks in close collaboration with our representative in Luleå, but also work with the district leadership and the regional group along with its political secretaries. The work will vary and depend on which phase of the election campaign is ongoing. The focus will be on supporting the party associations through activity-creating initiatives, as well as organizing door-knocking campaigns, poster campaigns, and public events to reach more target groups. You will also work with our podcast, Kampviljan Podd.

You should sympathize with and have a good understanding of the Left Party. We prefer that you have experience in conducting or leading projects, whether voluntary or professional, and are an inspiring communicator. It is also important that you are outgoing, self-driven, and relationship-building. It is an advantage if you have knowledge or interest in healthcare policy, cultural policy, public transport, or regional development.

About the Workplace

The Left Party Norrbotten works with advocacy and activities to facilitate the everyday lives of the local party associations in the region. We want to become both more and more active members. Our fundamental idea is to create a socialist, feminist, and anti-racist society on an ecological basis. The district has two employees, one located in Luleå and one in Övertorneå, and works together with the Left Party's regional group. Additionally, we also collaborate with employees and volunteers in the Left Party's local associations in Norrbotten. A driver's license is required to support our large region.

The Left Party Norrbotten offers wellness grants and one wellness hour per week.
